Founder of OYE
Certified Mindful Meditation Instructor
Thank you for checking out our website! I am the founder and owner of OYE, as well as a certified life coach and mindful meditation instructor in the Buffalo, New York area. I obtained my Bachelor's of Arts in Communications, Journalism and Political Science from Howard University in 2019. I went on to receive my Master's of Public Administration from Buffalo State College in hopes of implementing policy change in my immediate communities. My master's project was an extensive research study on the effects of frequent meditation practice and public service motivation which ultimately yielded positive results. In the future, I would love to continue this research in pursuit of my PhD in Public Policy.
I see meditation as a universal wellness practice that should be implemented in government, schools and businesses. My goal is to offer a solution for implementing meditation in traditional American institutions and everyday life, through the OYE initiative.
I am currently a volunteer mentor and teacher at a juvenile detention center. I am able to see firsthand, the positive effects meditation has on vulnerable populations and am eager to make this resource more accessible. I love helping others in any way I can but my favorite is through writing. On our page here, is access to my personal blog which details my own journey of growth, healing and stepping out my estimate! Hope you enjoy.
